Waltherson Improvement Association Flag Project

support for your community and let
your neighbors know that you are proud to live in Waltherson!!The
Waltherson Improvement Association has received a grant from HARBEL/Baltimore
Community Foundation to develop a neighborhood flag
that members can proudly display on their home or yard. Waltherson
will be one of the first neighborhoods in the northeast tohave
such a flag. The cost of the flags is $25.
As with
any good deal, this won’t last forever! If you are interested, join
your neighbors in showing pride in your

Waltherson Traffic CalmingAt the December general meeting, Waltherson voted to approve the following
traffic calming measures for our area:
Full stop signs at Remmell and Ridgecroft - Community approves
Full stop signs at Eugene and Woodlea - Community approves
Speed bumps on Ridgecroft at the following locations - 4015, 3901 and
possibly
3810 - community approves
Bump-outs with green island for 3000 & 3100 block of Echodale - community
approves *with* the stipulation that the petition state that residents of
those blocks agree to maintain the green islands. We also request that the
petition clearly state the course of action should the green islands not be
maintained. The community supports a temporary structure until a permanent
one can be installed.
